A 20-year-old man has been rescued by the police from an angry after he was accused of being a notorious thief in Kisumu County.
Adam Rajab Abdalla was rescued by a nearby police unit who managed to calm the angry mob by taking him inside the house for his own safety.
Once inside, the police began searching the room only to find the 750 IDs, 32 inch TV set, cooker, 8 pairs of scissors, a black toy gun, mattress, ice coolant box, two empty crates of soda.
A number of crude weapons were also recovered by the police including four kitchen knives and three assorted screw drivers hiden inside the house.
According to the video seen by Newsmoto.co.ke, the suspect revealed that he obtained the IDs from a government office and through other rogue employees was able to register several sim cards to defraud unsuspecting members of public.
His mother revealed that her son mentioned those behind the theft and requested her son to be taken in as a witness.
