Christantus Omondi, a 27-year-old Kenyan living in the US has been charged with the murder of firewood delivery man.
The suspect who is currently being held by the police at Fort Worth, Texas is reported to have beaten the delivery man several times in the head using firewood during his several trips.
“A 27-year-old Kenyan man identified as Christantus Omondi held by police in Fort Worth, Texas, for allegedly killing a delivery truck driver Scotty Jackson by repeatedly striking him on the head with firewood as he delivered the load to a customer on Wendover Drive.” said Cyprian is Nyakundi

The news comes at a time when US is facing one of its coldest seasons in history that its has caused the death of atleast 30 people.
Confirming the police was Omondi’s neighbour who had hired the services of the firewood delivery man before they were both attacked by the suspect who was apparently naked at the time.
The neighbour also confirmed that the suspect threatened to attack another neigbour before returning back home where he was arrested by the police who found him naked. Omondi is reported to have been violent at the time of the incident.
The 27-year-old who is not new to the police has previous records of evading arrests and at one point holding a police officer at gunpoint.
