At least 28 people are reported to have sustained injuries after a vehicle drove into a group of people on Thursday morning as confirmed by the police.
“The driver was able to be secured on site and currently poses no further danger,” said the police
In an update in regard to the incident, the police confirmed that two of the injured are in a serious condition as at the moment.

Journalist were also informed by Bavarian state premier Markus Söder that the incident is being treated as a ‘suspected attack.’
The police have also identified one of the suspects as 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker with the motive behind the attack remaining unknown.
According to the police, the incident occurred at Dachauer Street and Seidle Street located in the heart of Minich near the city’s central train station.
A major operation is currently underway as confirmed by the police who have since called on residents to avoid the area.
