Muguanyoni Village of Kahuro Sub County in Murang’a is in grief after a 28-year-old father of two killed his two children before going into hiding.
The Sunday incident was reported by the villagers who found the two boys lying in a pool of blood as their father identified as Evans Kang’ethe was missing.
They now suspect him to be behind the murders after he had separated from the wife some weeks ago.

Anne Njeri, the mother to Evans suspected something was wrong after missing her grandchildren before reorting the matter to the neighbours who broke into the house where they found the boys dead with their throats slit open.
According to the mother, she noticed his son had developed anger issues after splitting from the wife. He recently attacked his own father demanding to be given a piece of land.
Neigbours to the suspect have called on women to tag along their children after splitting fro m their husbands as they are natural nurtures.
