A 33-year-woman has committed suicide in in Masinga, Machakos County under unclear circumstances.
The victim identified as Emmaculate Mwende Kyengo was found dead by her relative inside her matrimonial house before reporting the matter to the police.
“It was reported by the relative that Emmaculate Mwende Kyengo aged 33 years had died by suicide inside her house in Kathui village Kikumini sublocation,” read the police report

Both the OCS and DCI team visited the scene of crime where the lifeless body of Emmaculate was found hanging from the roof top tied by a lesso but lacked any physical injuries.
Upon further investigation, a suicide note was recovered before the body was taken to  Mbaku Funeral Home as investigations into the incident is launched.
“The OCS and DCI team visited the scene and found deceased hanging dead from the roof trass inside her bedroom with a red lesso tied on her neck with no physical injuries.” said the police
