A 64-year-old man is feared dead after he was attacked by unknown people and hacked to death in Lunga Lunga, Kwale County.
Tungwa Katembe was ambushed outside his house by the unknown assailants who were armed with crude weapons before killing him as confirmed by the police.
According to Citizen Digital, the family of the deceased heard loud screams from his house only to find him unconscious.

“According to his wife and children, the deceased had gone out to bathe behind the house and they heard him scream once. They rushed outside only to find him taking his last breath,” read the report seen by Citizen Digital
Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased sustained deep cuts wounds at the back of the head. His body has since been moved to Msambweni County Referral Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
Investigations into the incident has been launched.
