A 66-seater bus was on Thursday involved in a fatal accident at Londiani, Kericho County as confirmed Kenya Red Cross.
According to Kenya Red Cross, a total of 40 people were seriously injured as a result of the accident, an incident was still being attended to as at the time of publishing.
Through a statement, Kenya Red Cross confirmed that 40 people had been taken to Fort Tenarn Hospital and four had been taken to Kericho County Referral Hospital.

“40 casualties evacuated to Fort Tenarn Hospital; 4 referred to Kericho County Referral Hospital by County ambulance and well-wishers,” they said
As at the time of publishing, no casualties have been reported.
The incident comes barely six months after 52 people lost their lives at the same area following a grisly accident involving a trailer.
The incident caught the attention of Roads and Transport CS who assured Kenyans that no such accident will occur at the place which has been marked as a blackspot for motorists.
