Police in Kisumu have arrested 78 teens who were at a house party at Mountain View Estate and recovered drugs in process.
Confirming the incident was Kisumu Central Sub-County Police Commander Peter Mulai who said that the police recovered bhang, cigarettes, and khat from the teens at the house party.
A total of 68 boys and 10 girls who were all under the legal age of 18 years were arrested with the police confirming that there were 100 teens at the time of the arrest.

The teens were later on taken to Obunga Police Station for questioning before they were taken home by their parents.
Peter Mulai further confirmed that five teens spent the night at the station and were taken home in the morning by their relatives.
The houseowner and parent to one of the teens was also contacted by the police and in his defense his noted that he was unaware of the incident as he was away.
Parents have since been urged to monitor their children closely especially during the festive season as the police keep monitoring the security situation of the country.
