Aaron Ramsdale has joined Southampton from Arsenal on a four year contract worth £24 million plus add-ons.
“Aaron Ramsdale to Southampton, here we go! Deal in place after official bid revealed earlier today. Fee will be £24/25m add-ons included, agreed with Arsenal.” said Fabrizio Romano
As part of the agreement, Arsenal will first receive £18 million as initial fee with the balance set to paid if Southampton are to avoid relegation.

“Arsenal will receive £18m initial fee for Aaron Ramsdale plus £1m if Southampton stay in PL. There are also £6m more in add-ons linked to player performances. Ramsdale will travel for medical on Thursday.” said Fabrizio
In his place, the Gunners have now approached Espanyol for the services of Joan Garcia before the end of the transfer period.
“Arsenal submit €20m package bid for Joan García as new GK to replace Ramsdale. Agents Juanma López and Andy Bara bring the proposal to Espanyol worth €20m add-ons included. Espanyol ask for €30m clause.” said Fabrizio Romano
