Adani Energy Solutions through a statement had denied its involvement in managing and upgrading of Jomo Kenyatta airport as previously alleged.
“The Company nor any of its subsidiaries have entered into any contract in connection with any airport in Kenya,” read the statement.
The company was speaking in response to the cancelation of Ksh 95 billion transmission line project in the country saying that it was an ordinary business that did not require any declaration under the Indian stock exchange rules.

This was also in response to Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange who were seeking clarification following the President’s announcement that they were pulling out of the 30-year-odl public-private partnership deal.
“Further, the Company hereby submits that there is no material impact of the Media Report on the operations of the Company,” said Adani Energy Solutions.
The statement following an indictment issued by U.S authorities following allegations that the group chairman Gautam Adani and several other executives were involved in a 34 billion bribe with India officials in order to bag a solar tender.
