An Administration Police officer has been arrested after she allegedly shot her husband 12 times killing him in Eldoret.
The mother of three was seen on Sunday morning returning after finishing her duty at the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) armed with her service weapon.
Not long after she was at home, a heated argument ensued between the couple before gunshots were heard forcing neighbors to scamper for shelter in fear of their lives.

The officer immediately fled the scene but witnesses confirmed that she had fired more than 12 bullets.
The suspect then surrendered at Eldoret police station as confirmed by Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Benjamin Mwanthi who told Citizen TV that the body of the deceased was moved to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue.
Investigations into the incident have commenced with the suspect set to be arraigned in court on Monday 15th, October 2023.
