Administrative officials in Kiharu have on Wednesday snubbed a development meeting held by MP Ndindi Nyoro where he launched a new Assistant County Commissioner’s office in the area.
The news is so unlike in the past where the Legislator would be received by administrative officials and police officers and chiefs during the launch of any project.

What has baffled many is the fact the the office launched by MP Ndindi Nyoro would benefit the administrative officers who snubbed the ceremony.
The launch comes days after the MP addressed his removal as the Chair of National Assembly Budget and Appropriations Committee saying that he still does not know what caused his ouster and that he had not been engaged in regard to the position.
Despite the Wednesday scene, residents of Kiharu have promised Nyoro their unwavering support.
“We chose him without a campaign; his campaign was carried out through work, and now his work speaks for itself, when he says ‘let’s go,’ we go.
What saddens us is that we came to open this office and came to give it to the administration officers, but there is not even one here. We will not fault them we know that sometimes when you’re told to do something, you just say, ‘Yes, Sir.” they said
On his part, MP Ndindi Nyoro noted that he has no problem with anyone and that people should not confuse his respect for people as fear.
“Nitaendelea kuheshimu watu; lakini isikuje siku moja mtu aone heshima anapewa afikirie watu wako na uoga. Sina shida na mtu; mtu afanye kazi yake mimi nifanye yangu kwa sababu wananchi ndio tunahudumia,” he said.
