Agnes Kalekye has been appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
Confirming the appointment of Agnes was ICT CS Eliud Owalo who noted that the appointment is with immediate effect and will run for a period of three years.
Agnes Kalekye served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Star and also served as the Chairperson of the Media Owners Association.
A total of eight candidates were shortlisted for the position following its publication on 13th February, 2024.
