Amad Diallo netted in extra time to send Manchester United past Liverpool and into the FA Cup semi-finals in a tightly contested clash.
On Sunday, all football lovers had their sight at Old Trafford where the highly contested slash of the weekend was going to take place.
Ten minutes into the clash, Scott McTominay gave the host the lead thanks to an easy tap in before Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah sent two successive goals to give them a lead at the break.

Erik Ten Hag who was under pressure in the second half had Anthony come to his rescue in the 87th minute forcing the game into extra time. Marcus Rashford had just blown wide a glorious chance.
Harvey Elliot who had come in had his strike deflected into the back of Manchester United goal to give Liverpool the lead once more. Rashford’s clean finish brought back the host’s hopes for a win which was guaranteed by Diallo who was sent off after picking the second yellow card of the clash.
The win takes Manchester United closer to the first cup of the season in a tournament which includes Chelsea and Manchester City.
