Angata Nanyekie MCA Paul Leshimpriro was on Sunday killed by suspected bandits as he was heading home.
Confirming the incident was Samburu County police boss Thomas Ototo who said that the politician was ambushed along the Morijo-Baragoi Road by the suspected bandits as he was heading home.
At the time of the incident, the MCA was returning from Maralal.
