Manchester United winger Antony Santos has returned to training and will be available for team selection.
Through a statement, Manchester United noted that the former Ajax forward has been co-operated with the police both in Brazil and in the UK.
“Since allegations were first made in June, Antony has co-operated with police inquiries in both Brazil and the UK, and he continues to do so.

“As Antony’s employer, Manchester United has decided that he will resume training at Carrington, and be available for selection, while police inquiries proceed. This will be kept under review pending further developments in the case.” said Manchester United
Even though the player has been allowed back to training, the Red Devils condemn any form of violence and abuse and recognize the importance of safeguarding those involved.
“As a club, we condemn acts of violence and abuse. We recognize the importance of safeguarding all those involved in this situation, and acknowledge the impact these allegations have on survivors of abuse.” read the statement
Antony is facing allegation of violence against her then girlfriend who has sued him in a court in Brazil. The player maintains innocent as he accused the former girlfriend of lying to drive her agenda home.
