17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri has been sidelined for Arsenal’s next fixture after picking up a muscular injury as confirmed by Mikel Arteta.
Arteta revealed that the injury will see the Arsenal gem remain sidelined for a few weeks before making his return to the squad.
“Unfortunately he has picked up an injury and is going to be out for a few weeks” he said

The news worsens the depth of the team as it currently struggles with injured players including the likes of Bukayo Saka, Ben White and Tomiyasu.
As is the case with Nwaneri, Saka who underwent surgery is expected to make his return in March denting the hopes of fans who were expecting Arsenal to mount a tittle challenge against Liverpool.
Over the weekend they were held to a 1-1 draw against Brighton leaving them in second position with 40 points, six points behind Liverpool who were also held by Manchester United on Sunday.
