Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has for the first time revealed his decision for benching first choice goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Speaking on Friday, Arteta noted that the decision is also hard on the players but the England international has been very supportive at the club.
“Difficult with every player but he has been very supportive and really, really good around the place,” said Arteta.

He continued by saying that is what he expects from every player at the club that whenever they are in the field they should know there is someone else who is not.
“That is what I expect from every single player as when you are on the field, there is someone else who is not,” he said.
The news comes at a time when Arsenal has agreed a new long term deal with Martin Odegaard that will be valid until June 2028.
