Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is determined to find a solution to Kai Havertz’s injury despite lacking a natural striker at the club.
This follows recent developments where the club has not approached free agents to solve the number 9 problem which has for years been seen as the sole reason why trophies are not coming through.
- Aston Villa reject £60m bid from Arsenal for Ollie Watkins
- Kai Havertz to miss the rest of the season through hamstring injury
Arsenal’s staff are keeping a close eye on the recovery of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka who could boost the current squad if fully fit.
“No contacts or approaches made by Arsenal with free agents so far following Havertz’s injury.
Arteta, determined to find solutions internally while staff keeps waiting for Bukayo Saka and Martinelli back.
The investment on new striker will be made in the summer.” said Fabrizio Romano
