An autopsy report of couple who were found dead holding hands in Kisii on November 27th has been released on Saturday.
The report confirmed that the lady, a US-based doctor died following a blunt force trauma on the head thus pointing a murder.
Investigations into the incident brought to an end endless theories surrounding their death as it further revealed that she could have been tortured before she was eventually killed.

“She had been badly beaten and bruised. Her skull had been crashed and there was blood in her brain. She was badly beaten from her head to her knees,” said a family spokesperson of the 28-year-old doctor.
Before the incident, the family of the lady had filed a case before the police claiming that her life was in danger but nothing was done until when she disappeared mysteriously days later.
It took the intervention of her cousin who sought the help of the landlady were she was found dead with her lover. Several syringes were also recovered from scene.
“No suicide note was found, however, there were assorted injection syringes, both used and unused, and medicines,” revealed a DCI officer.
On Saturday the two were laid to rest with the family of the man also calling for speedy investigation into the incident. They also claimed that the lady had many attempts to commit suicide.
