Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are closing in on a deal to sign former Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany as their new head coach.
It is understood that Kompany accepted the move immediately after they made the first call and he is patiently waiting for their confirmation.

The news comes at a time when Kompany is being scouted by a number of top clubs even though his side Burnley was relegated in the Premier League this season.
