Billy Mwangi and Peter Muteti found alive after abduction

24-year-old Billy Mwangi and 22-year-old Peter Muteti all victims of mysterious abduction have been found in the wake of anti-abduction protests.

The news comes 15 days after they were reported missing with their families confirming that they have met them after they were found by good Samaritans. Also re-united with their families is Bernard Kavuli and Rony Kiplangat.

Billy Mwangi’s father confirmed that his son arrived at their Majengo home on Monday morning and so was the family of Muteti who confirmed the same.

“Thank God Larry. The boy is back physically intact,” the father of Billy Mwangi told Larry Madowo

“Hey Larry, Peter has been released. He is currently with family. He is quite disoriented and not able to talk and give interviews at the moment” said Larry Madowo

Peter Muteti was abducted on 21st December 2024 outside his apartment in Nairobi while Billy Mwangi was abducted after visiting a local barber shop in Embu.

After the news of their abduction, the National Police Service (NPS) denied any involvement saying that they make arrest and arraign the suspects in court as per the law.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the National Police Service is not involved in any abduction, and there is no police station in the country that is holding the reported abductees,” they said

The Judiciary and those allied to the opposition have also voice their plea to stop the abductions of young Kenyans despite promises from President William Ruto that he will put an end to it.

According to the Head of State, parents should play their part and raise their children according raising questions as to whether the government is linked to the abductions.
