Detectives have confirmed that the body found dumped in Makongo forest along the Machakos-Wote road in Makueni County is that of missing British national Campbell Scott.
The discovery comes almost a week after the 58-year-old senior director at global data analytics company FICO was last seen alive in Nairobi.

The body of Scott was found on 22nd February 2025 by herders who grazing their animals at Makonga forest before bumping into a sack containing a decomposing body.
Authorities who responded to the discovery confirmed that it had been tied with ropes and its face was severly burnt.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the perpetrators could have deliberately burnt the body so as to conceal any evidence from pointing back to them.
Also discovered around the body were pineapples that detectives believe could have been implanted so as to deceive them that he had something to do with pineapples.
After conducting tests on the missing body, sources revealed that it was positively identified as that of Campbell Scott.
