Bondo United FC was on Sunday involved in an accident along the Londiani-Muhoroni highway on their way to Naivasha.
The player who were on board a matatu were in the company of bench players heading to Naivasha to face Sunderland Naivasha in Division 1 fixture.

“Prayers to the players and technical staff of BONDO United FC who were involved in a road accident early today on their way to Naivasha for a Division 1 match. There are no fatalities & the injured are receiving treatment. Quick recovery to all who are injured.” said KCB Football club
A statement from the club revealed that those injured were rushed to Fort Tenan Hospital for treatment.
“Injured players are getting medical assistance at Fort Ternan Hospital. Lord of second chances, thank you once again,” said the club
Luckily, no fatalities were reported from the accident as the car involved was clearly shuttered.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured Bondo United players as they recover from today’s accident near Kericho while en route to Naivasha for a football match.” said Hon. Raila Odinga
