Catherine the Princess of Wales has revealed that she in the early stages of treating cancer following a recent diagnosis.
Through a video, she said that the news was huge shock in what have been the toughest months of her life.
She continued by saying that she is well and getting stronger every day even though the details of the cancer have been revealed.

“However tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” said Catherine
In January, the Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery at the time cancer had not been discovered by the doctors. Chemotherapy began in February with the Palace revealing that it will not share private medical records including the type of cancer.
“William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.” she said
“It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.” she continued
The King and Queen have already been informed with the news as the Princes sent a message to those battling the disease saying they are not alone.
“For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.” she said
