Chelsea come from behind to draw against Liverpool

Chelsea came from behind on Sunday to draw 1-1 against Liverpool in their first Premier league clash of the season.

Both sides have been held in a strong transfer season and push and pull over the signing of Moises Caicedo who insists on joining Chelsea and not Liverpool even after meeting Brighton’s valuation.

On Sunday, Jurgen Klopp’s side was too technical against the host before Mohamed Salah slid a pass to Diaz who managed to slide it past Sanchez 18 minutes after kick off.

Chilwell rounded Alisson Becker two minutes later but his effort was ruled for outside. Nicholas Jackson also failed to keep the ball down as his effort went off target.

Mauricio Pochettino brought in a number of substitutes including Mudryk but their entry failed to yield results extending their head-to-head tie to seventh.
