Chelsea has suffered a major setback after their £80m bid for Moises Caicedo was turned down immediately by Brighton.
Even though the new bid has been turned down, Chelsea are still in negotiation with Brighton with the hope of striking a deal soon.

“Chelsea have submitted new bid for Moisés Caicedo in the last 24 hours. Understand Chelsea new proposal was £80m (€93m in Euros) — and it was immediately rejected by Brighton. Negotiations remain ongoing but no agreement at this stage,” said Fabrizio Romano.
The Premier League giants have been on a serious market spree following the change in ownership that saw the release of their first team players and in brought a set of new young players.
At the same time, the Blues have their eyes of Southampton midfielder Kudus who has also caught the attention of other top clubs.
