Chelsea defender has suffered a new injury which will see him sidelined in their upcoming fixture against Leicester on Saturday afternoon.
“Unfortunately Reece felt something small and we don’t want to take a risk for this game” said Coach Enzo Maresca
According to Maresca, his prayer is that it is nothing serious and that he will be back as soon as possible to defend his position at the club.
“Hopefully it’s not something long. We think it’s short-term one, yes” he said
“I know it’s not easy, but if every time James gets an injury it becomes harder for him it’s, for me, even worse”.
“He has to accept and try to avoid as much as he can. Sometimes things happen even if you want to avoid”.
“Hopefully he can be available next game” he said
James has not been lucky with his return for sometime now encountering a set of new injuries every time he makes his return.
