DR Congo Minister of Foreign Affairs has written a letter to Arsenal urging them to terminate there ‘Visit Rwanda’ sponsorship deal with Rwanda.
In the letter the Minister called on the owners of Arsenal, the Kroenke family to consider its deal with the country citing the many Congolese suffering from the ongoing war.
He continued by accusing Rwanda of sponsoring M23 rebels who have declared war on Congo despite talks for a ceasefire.

The Minister further claimed that Rwanda could be sponsoring the shirt deal with Arsenal using proceeds from stole minerals from Congo without Gunners knowledge.
As the war rages on and the rebels taking over the key city of Goma, President Paul Kagame had denied any links with the M23 rebels but called on its neighbours to find a lasting solution to the problem.
13 peace making soldiers from South Africa have so far been confirmed dead despite the rising tension between South Africa and Rwanda. Kagame accuses Ramaphonsa of being sly in the war and even dare to threaten him.
In Congo, the Foreign Affairs minister alleged that Arsenal could be earning from proceeds of donations and other illegal incomes from Rwanda.
