Azimio la Umoja has on Thursday announced the resumption of anti-government protests on Wednesday next week.
Confirming through a statement was former Defense Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa from the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation in Nairobi.
Also confirming the news was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who said that the protest will continue as planned whether the government likes it or not.

“We will have countrywide meetings next week Wednesday whether the government likes it or not,” said Raila.
Azimio also noted that they have set aside five days to honor and mourn Kenyans who have lost their lives during the just concluded Wednesday protests.
They further warned legal action against the police who were involved in engaging in brutality through their lawyers who will collect witness statements as well collect images from the protests.
“We have instructed our legal team to institute proceedings against officers who went against their mandate of protecting Kenyans. We are asking Kenyans to share photographs of police who brutalised Kenyans,” said Azimio
