Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) has recorded a statement with DCI over his son’s abduction Leslie Muturi, which occurred last year.
Speaking after honouring the summon, the CS noted that the matter is personal to him as he exudes confidence that the police will solve it.
“Today, I honored an invitation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to record a statement at Kilimani Police Station regarding the abduction of my son, Leslie Muturi, last year.

The news follows a statement from DCI calling on the CS to record a statement over his son’s abduction, a case which has been confirmed is still active under investigation.
Muturi’s statement comes at the wake on increased cases of abductions in the country despite the police denying any involvement.
