Roads and transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen has relaunched cargo flights at the Eldoret International Airport accompanied by Trade CS Moses Kuria.
Speaking at the event, Murkomen noted that the relaunch marks a milestone to the business community and farmers as they will be able to expand their business and ensure faster transportation of their roducts.

“This morning, I joined my colleague Hon. Moses Kuria (CS for Investment, Trade and Industry) during the official relaunch of cargo flights at the Eldoret International Airport.
This is a great milestone for the business community and farmers in the region and beyond as it will ensure faster transportation of goods, expand the scope of business, and improve livelihoods,” said CS Murkomen
He continued by promising to expand the airport’s runway further and the available warehouses through partnerships with the private sector.
“As a Ministry we are working hard to ensure that the airport’s runway is extended and the warehouses are constructed through our partnership with the private sector,” he said
