The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has termed the move by the Supreme Court to bar lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi as unconstitutional.
The society was speaking as they sued the Supreme Court over the decision they passed last week given his sustained attack of the court on social media.
They continued by saying that neither the lawyer or his clients were given fair opportunity to be heard before the decision was made.

“A democratic country requires pluralism, tolerance and broadminded which respectfully, the Supreme Court has failed to exercise,” said LSK
LSK said that the Supreme Court did not take into account the harm the verdict has on his employees and clients at large.
According to the society, it was lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi who threatened to name and shame corrupt and incompetents judges between the years 1990 and 2000 leading to the dismissal of 23 judges. It is the plea of LSK that the decision is quashed.
The news comes barely days after the lawyer’s case failed to kick off given his representation but the Supreme Court allowed the client to source the services of another lawyer.
