Declan Rice nets stoppage time winner against Luton

Declan Rice netted a stoppage time goal against Luton on Tuesday night to send Arsenal five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

It was definitely a night not to remember for David Raya who saw two questionable goals go past him in both halves to pile pressure on the visiting Gunners.

After an intense start, Luton was really doing its job right keeping the pace and attacking at every opportunity. Martinelli broke the deadlock in the the 20th minute when he swept across a Bukayo Saka’s assist. Osho levelled for Luton five minutes later before Jesus doubled the lead for the visitors.

In the second half Adebayo and Ross Barkley gave Luton the lead before Kai Havertz levelled for Arsenal after finishing a clever Jesus assist in the 60th minute.

Martin Odegaard’s assist in the 90+7 minute of the clash saw Declan Rice rise above the Luton defense sending the whole stadium in a frenzy.

The win sends Arsenal five points clear of the table ahead of other Premier League fixtures scheduled for Wednesday night.
