EACC detectives have arrested Ikino Police Station Deputy OCS and three others receiving a ksh 50,000 bribe to release a complaint’s motor vehicle.
“Earlier in the week, EACC arrested the Deputy OCS for Ikino Police Station in Kiambu County, Police Inspector George Chacha and his accomplice PC Elizabeth Mwongeli Muthoka following their involvement in corruption.

The two demanded Kes. 50,000 from the complainant as a “motivation fee” for the Deputy OCS to release the complainant’s motor vehicle which he had adamantly refused to release despite a valid court order presented to him by the complainant.” said EACC
The three were later processed at EACC Integrity Centre Police Station before they were taken to Kilimani Police Station pending further legal action.
“The two were apprehended on Monday after receiving the demanded amount from the complainant at Ikino Police Station. They were processed at EACC Integrity Centre Police Station and later Kilimani Police Station pending further enforcement actions.” said EACC
