Former US President Donald Trump has been found guilty of all 34 charges leveled against him in the criminal hush money trial.
Trump becomes the first US President to face trial in a criminal case and it was the first of his four indictments to reach trial.
It was established before the court that Donald Trump had falsified his internal business records so as to cover up the hush money payments, a scheme that could have laid to rest many of his stories that led to his 2016 White House bid.

In the center of the charges was $130,000 paid to his former lawyer meant for adult film star Stormy Daniels so as not to public with their sexual encounter back in 2006.
As per the records, Trump labelled the payment as legal expenses so as to hide the purpose of the payment. He now faces up to four years in prison even though he has denied any wrong doing.
The news could further dent his political journey ahead of the elections which he is set to vie and face Joe Biden.
