Three people are feared dead and 41 others sustained injuries after Dreamline bus was involved in an accident at Londiani.
At the time of the accident, the Dreamline bus was coming from Mombasa heading to Busia and was carrying 44 passengers before it lost control when negotiating a corner.
Those who passed away have been confirmed as a male, female and a child who were both onboard the bus. Two of the passengers died on the spot and one died upon arrival at the hospital.

“The said bus was being driven from Mombasa via Londiani Junction towards Siaya (Fort Victoria). Upon reaching the accident scene, the driver, Abdalla Masen Mohamed, lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a corner, causing it to land on the left side of the road as one faces Muhoroni direction from Londiani,” read a report on the accident.
Some of the injured are reported to have suffered deep cut wounds on the head. The scene of accident has also been termed as a blackspot as three accidents have also happened at the same spot.
