The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has summoned Busia County bosses to its offices over irregular employment in the county.
Through a letter dated October 30th, the 39 directors and deputies have been advised to appear in person at the EACC offices in Bungoma to shed more light alleged nepotism and corruption.

“The commission pursuant to its constitutional and statutory mandate as set out under Article 252 (1) (a) (d) of the Constitution, Section 11 of the EACC Act 2011 and Section 4 (2) and 42 (10) of the Leadership and Integrity Act 2012, is carrying out investigations on allegations of irregular recruitment of Directors and Deputy Directors by the County Service Board of Busia,” read the letter
“To facilitate the investigations, kindly inform below-listed officers to kindly avail themselves for interviews and statement recordings at our offices located at Daima Plaza 2nd floor Bungoma town as per the schedule below.” said EACC
