Radio Africa and East FM is mourning the death of their breakfast presenter Aleem Manji who passed away on November 12th.
Through a statement, Radio Africa Group Human Resource Manager Jemima Ngode called on colleagues to carry on the vision and dedication left behind by the presenter as they organize a fitting farewell.
“As we mourn Aleem Manji today, let’s remember his professional legacy, his indelible contributions, his unmatched passion. And let’s carry forward his vision, his dedication, and his pursuit of excellence. For, that is the best tribute we can offer him, the most fitting farewell to our esteemed colleague,” she said.

East FM through a statement noted that they will miss his laughter, warmth and immense joy during his 15 years of service at the station.
“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the sudden demise of our breakfast presenter Aleem Manji. We will miss you Aleem. Over 15 years of laughter, warmth and immense joy. Your calmness and smile will be missed dearly.
Heaven earned itself an Angel. You have been nothing but an amazing friend, brother, and teammate at East FM. May your soul rest in eternal peace. Let us keep his family, friends, and fellow colleagues in our thoughts and prayers.” they said
The late Aleem Manji has left behind a widow Seema Sarkar Manji who they have been married for 13 years and blessed with two children.
