Five time Berlin Marathon winner Eliud Kipchoge has broken his silence after the historic win on Sunday.
Taking on social media, Kipchoge thanked his fans for the support and that the five time win was something he could only dream of.

“To be the first one winning the Berlin Marathon five times is something that I could only dream of. We have so much history together whereby I cannot put into words the feeling I get when running these streets. Thank you to all the fans out on the course today.” said Kipchoge
Earlier on after crossing the finish line, Eliud Kipchoge admitted that the world record was on his mind but when it turned out impossible, the win was one thing he fully focused on in the one man show in Berlin.
He continued by revealing he was not sure if he will be present in the next marathon hinting at his retirement and focus on mentoring the upcoming generation of athletes in the country.
