It was business unusual in Embu after residents staged demonstration over the abduction of the abduction of Billy Mwangi.
The angry residents lit tyres and blocked roads within town area calling for the immediate release of the 24-year-old who is still missing six days later.
According to Mwangi’s family, their son was taken away by four armed with masks from a barber shop before speeding off using a double cabin vehicle.

Even since the Saturday event, the family of the influencer has not gotten in touch with their son who was targeted following an ai image of President William Ruto that he shared on X platform.
Mwangi is among seven youths including Steve Kavingo Mbisi, Peter Muteti, Bernard Kavuli, Rony Kiplang’at and Gideon Kibet alias Kibet Bull who have been abducted over improper painting the President and the government at large.
The National Police Service through IG Douglas Kanja has distanced themselves from the allegation insisting that they only do arrests as per the law.
