Police in Kisumu have arrested one Jackline Selline Kuya, a female suspect at Riat area and took her in for investigations.
Jackline who was in possession of a stolen mobile phone led the police to Mamboleo area where they recovered a Ceska pistol.

“Police in Kisumu today, January 9, 2025 arrested one Jackline Selline Kuya at Riat Area while in possession of a stolen mobile phone, and upon interrogation, she led the Officers to a premise in Mamboleo Area where they recovered a Ceska Pistol.” said National Police Service
According to the police, the pistol recovered had been reported stolen at Obunga police station and that the mobile phone belonged to one Nancy.
“The weapon is suspected to be the one stolen from a civilian vide Obunga Police Station report of 16/7/2024 and the recovered phone as the one robbed off from one Nancy on 24/12/2024. Case Pending Before Court with DCI Kisumu East dealing.” said NPS
