Several people sustained injured and several houses razed down following a fire incident at Tassia, Embakasi on Sunday dawn.
It took the effort of firefighters and locals to contain the deadly inferno as those injured were taken to Mama Lucy Hospital for treatment.

Even though the cause of the fire remains unknown, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino called on prayers and support for the affected families.
“Pray for us as fire is currently razing down houses at Tassia,Embakasi East,” he said
“Property worth millions destroyed,children,Men and women left homeless,forced to spend the night in the cold.What a sad night in Embakasi East.” he continued
