Police in Muhoroni, Kisumu County are holding five suspects believed to be behind a retaliatory attack on a man on Thursday morning.
The attack which led to the death of the man began as an revenge mission after one Joseph Otieno Ochero was speared to death on the same day at 4 am.
According to the police, the attack led to the abduction of the 21-year-old man who suffered deep cut wounds before he was rushed to Masogo sub-county hospital for treatment.

Two motorcycles were recovered during the police operation and the suspects are being held at Masogo police station pending a date with the court.
40-year-old Ochero is reported to have been attacked under unclear circumstances and efforts by the villagers to rush him to the hospital failed as he was confirmed dead on arrival.
The murder weapon has however been recovered by the police who have also marked the place as an exhibit.
