The Football federation of Kenya (FKF) has launched investigation into match fixing allegations in the country involving goalkeeper Patrick Matasi.
Through a statement, FKF confirmed that they are aware of the video circulating on social media and in collaboration with FIFA, CAF and other relevant authorities they are investigating the allegations.

They continued by promising that the investigations will adhere to FIFA Anti Match Manipulation Regulations and that the rights of the club will be respected and appropriate action will be taken based on the findings.
“We encourage anyone with credible information to assist in this investigation. All reports will be handed with strict confidentiality.” said FKF
The news follows an alleged video of Harambee Stars goalkeeper Patrick Matasia engaged in a conversation with unknown individual discussing how they could match fix a clash in their favor.
The video resurfaced old videos of the goalkeeper making some football blunder that have cost the national team some important opportunities.
