Security detail attached to former Prime Minister Raila Odnga has been withdrawn by the government ahead of Wednesday protests.
The security detail which comprises of 10 police officers has been withdrawn from his Karen, Siaya and Kisumu homes as revealed on Monday.
Also affected by the latest development is Wiper Party leader Kaonzo Musyoka as well as Legislators attached to Azimio la Umoja.

Confirming the news to Citizen TV was Minority leader Opiyo Wandayi who noted that security of 50 legislators attached to Azimio has been withdrawn without notice and that they do not care where there security will come from.
It has also been revealed that security attached to Homabay Governor Gladys Wanga and Kisumu Governor Anyan’g Nyong’o have also been withdrawn ahead of Wednesday’s protest.
The news comes barely hours after Azimio La Umoja held their meeting as Raila noted that the coming maandamano will be a game changer.
