Former Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal Kasaine and 10 others have been found guilty in Ksh 83 million graft case levelled against them.
The charge levelled against them is that of unlawful acquiring public property as read out by the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court.
The former Governor is further accused of supplying fuel to Samburu County Government through his company Oryx Service Station thus causing conflict of interest.

It was established that through a proxy Hesbon Wachira, Lenolkulal was able to make the transactions for the illegal acquisition of the public property.
A total of 11 witnesses and 388 documents were presented before the court to reveal the rot that happened during his tenure.
Issuing the orders was Chief Magistrate Thomas Nzioki who noted that there was sufficient evidence furnished by the prosecution team to prove that he and his co-accused are guilty.
“After considering the submissions of all the parties, I arrive at the conclusion that the prosecution has proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.
I find Moses Lenolkulal and 11 accused persons jointly guilty, and I convict each one of you for public acquisition of public property.” said Chief Magistrate Thomas Nzioki
