Coventry City has signed former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard as their first team manager on a three year deal valid until June 2027.

The news comes a time when Manchester United legend and former assistant manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy is set to join Leicester City as the new manager.
Ruud Van departed the Red Devils following the arrival of Ruben Amorim who noted his huge contribution to the club when he took over as the interim manager following the departure of Erik Ten Hag.
