The government through the Ministry of Education has confirmed that the ongoing KCSE examinations will continue as planned.
Through a press release, the Ministry noted that despite Friday being declared a national holiday, the examinations will continue.
Members of the Multi-Agency Examination Administration Team have been instructed to ensure that the day’s examinations are issued without any delays.

“The Ministry of Education wishes to inform the public that the declaration of the holiday will not interrupt the ongoing KCSE Examination papers scheduled for Friday, 1st November 2024.
Consequently, all members of the Multi-Agency Examinations Administration Team are instructed to report to work as scheduled to ensure that all examination activities of the day are well executed in line with Ministry of Education guidelines.” said Education CS Julius Migos.
Friday 1st November 2024 has been declared a public holiday to witness the swearing-in of Deputy President designate Pro. Kithure Kindiki.
