Social media commentator Gabriel Oguda and Director-General for Health Dr. Patrick Amoth are among 109 candidates shortlisted for the positions of Principal Secretary (PS).
Former Chief Administrative Secretary David Osiany, former KMPDU Secretary-General Dr Ouma Oluga, former nominated MP Wilson Sossion and former IPOA board chair Anne Makori are among the candidates shortlisted for the positions.

Others include former KPC MD Dr Macharia Irungu and former PS for Development of Arid and Semi-Arid Lands Micah Powon.
Former Kenya National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation CEO Prof. Shaukat Abdulrazak, Former KBC Managing Director Dr. Naim Bilal, Prof. Loice Maru from Bomet University and Ambassador Galma Boru also made it to the list.
Confirming the news was Public Service Commission (PSC) Chairperson Anthony Muchiri who said that the vacancies are due to the recent reappointments made by President William Ruto.
The candidates are now expected to be interviewed before their names are forwarded to President William Ruto who will make the appointments. Once appointed, they will be vetted by Parliament as stipulated by law.
